Haramsa criticizes Vatican for hypocrisy condemnation of homosexuality.
Polish priest and theologian Krzysztof Haramsa said publicly that he was gay, reported BBC a copy of his letter to Pope Francis. In his message, the priest asked to remove him from his work in the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and the Pontifical University.
Haramsa accuses in this letter also the Catholic Church that it has made the lives of millions of gay Catholics hell.
He criticizes the hypocrisy of the Vatican because it condemns homosexuality when referring to the fact that many Catholic priests are homosexuals.
The Vatican has not responded to the message of Haramsy yet.
43-year-old Krzysztof Haramsa lives in Rome last 17 years and worked in the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith since 2003.
