Prince’s death was a real shock not only for his family and friends. Many of modern celebrities used to be (and still remain) the fans of this fantastically talented man, so his passing away is a big grief for them.
‘My life love and music is more sexy and soulful because he lived and created. My heart is breaking,’ tweeted Melissa Etheridge who, like Prince, has won Grammys and an Oscar for her music.
Elton John posted a portrait of Prince on Instagram with the caption: This is truly devastating news. The greatest performer I have ever seen. A true genius. Musically way ahead of any of us. Sang with him twice on stage. What an honor.
Country music singer Chely Wright posted this tribute on Twitter: ‘Prince was our Elvis… and I’m not sure that even says enough about the way that @prince impacted music, art and culture.’
Adam Lambert, Ellen DeGeneres, Boy George, Steve Grand, Arryl Stephens and Tim Cook are also very upset and it is hard for them to express their loss with words. They still don’t believe that Prince is gone and cannot imagine how the showbusiness can go on without him. Prince was a legends and legends never die.
