Ellen DeGeneres founds her own network


This Wednesday Ellen DeGeneres has announced that the new Ellen Digital Network is going to feature already established YouTube and Snapchat stars. With more than 1.1 billion total cross-platform views, DeGeneres already ranks as the top creator of digital content online, according to a survey done by Tubular last November.The slate of programming for the network includes: a Snapchat series called Damn, Daniel; an animated series featuring the Emmy winner’s pets called Ellen’s Pet Dish; #MadeByYou which features the best user-generated content from DeGeneres’ YouTube channel called Ellentube; the game show Epic or Fail which is a popular segment on The Ellen DeGeneres Show; a series featuring 4-year-old whiz kid and The Ellen DeGeneres Show favorite Brielle Millaand; and new episodes of tWitch & Allison’s Dance Challenge.

Ellen won’t be alone in it – launching her social network she is going to collaborate with an openly gay YouTuber Tyler Oakley who she calls an amazing talent (and it is impossible to object to these words). She says to be very excited about the new network and she has no doubt that it is going to be something great!
