Basketball player Al-Farouq Aminu disown homophobic tweets – he says that his page was hacked

The network has a selection of tweets that were written by the players of the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the recent past. In this collection, and got messages from Twitter account striker “Portland” Al-Farouq Aminu.

Tweets have homophobic nature. Message appears on the page Aminu since February 2010, when he was 19-year-old student at Wake Forrest, and November of 2011 – then the striker has already played in the NBA.

“If your partner from your team is a gay, it is better to shoot yourself”, – says one of the messages.

According to Amin, he did not write these messages, and hoped that they did not affect anyone’s feelings.

Amin said that his “Twitter” hacked several times, but he did not attach much importance.

“I did not see what was happening just changed the password.”, – Said Amin.

In the NBA severely struggling with homophobia. So, in 2011, basketball player Tim Hardaway, who spent 13 seasons in the NBA, he was expelled from the association after a homophobic rant in WAXY radio broadcast.
