North Carolina through the court upholds law limiting the rights of transgender

The authorities of the US state of North Carolina with a population of about 10 million people refused to comply with the requirement of the US Department of Justice as soon as possible repeal the discriminatory act – one of a number of scandalous “toilet laws” adopted in the US regions.

This week, Gov. Pat Macrory refused to comply with the requirement, and the Ministry of Justice filed a lawsuit against the federal government. In the lawsuit, he was quoted as “The New York Times”, said that in accordance with the laws of the United States “transgederny status is not a class to be protected.” According to officials of the state Ministry of Justice has exceeded its powers by demanding to repeal the law before May 9, 2016.

The Ministry of Justice has filed a counterclaim to force the state government to give up the law.

Previously, many celebrities have announced a boycott of the state to protest the entry into force of the discriminatory law. For the concerts in North Carolina was canceled Bruce Springsteen, Ringo Starr, Brian Adams and others. They later joined Cirque du Soleil … from expanding their business in the state have refused to PayPal and Deutsche Bank. Approximately 200 different companies from around the country called on the state to soften the law, as for them it becomes more difficult to recruit new staff.
