Adele is a gay icon. She openly supports LGBT, she does not mind if her son comes out one day, she offers her service as a surrogate mother to a gay couple getting engaged on her concert. Of course, Orlando shootings could not leave her indifferent.

In the short but emotional speech she described the close connection she feels with many members of the LGBT community, adding that the incident in Orlando had really moved her. The singer said: “Thank you so much for coming to my show. I would like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.” She added: “The LGBTQI community are like my soulmates, since I was really young so I’m pretty moved by it.” Before moving on to the concert the 28 year old mocked herself for crying on stage. “I don’t know why I’m crying already because most of tonight is pretty miserable, because most of my songs are f***ing miserable.” she said. “I do have two songs that sound happy but they’re not. And if you like to dance this is your final chance, honestly because they have a beat.”
