Police lock down the street after a window of gay bar was shot out

Police have locked down a street in Canterbury because somebody shot out the window of the local gay bar. The staff of the bar has all the reasons to believe that it was an intended misdemeanor, not an accident. But there were no victims, no injuries, no weapon and nothing stolen.

The official police statement says: “Officers were called to Rosemary Lane in Canterbury at 9.50pm on Sunday 19 June following a report of a disturbance after a number of people had been asked to leave a venue. A window was broken in the incident. The cause of the damage remains under investigation. No weapons were reported to have been seen.Shortly after 4am two people – an 18 year-old man from Dover and a 17 year-old woman from Hythe – were arrested in connection with the incident and are currently in custody”.
