Out and proud Youtubers get together to inspire others


The new video from a collaboration of YouTube creators, sees a number of stars open up and talk about their sexual orientation and gender identity. Words release with the video remember the victims of the Orlando shooting “Now, more than ever, it’s important that we help accept, love, and celebrate one another. In the wake of the tragic events in Orlando, we stand together in support of the LGBTQ community. We stand together with everyone who has the courage to own and share their identity. We stand together to show the power of solidarity, the power of love, the power of pride. To those beautiful and brave voices who continue to make YouTube the vibrant, diverse and empathetic community it is, we are #ProudToBe with you.”

Chris Oflyng, who appears in the video, says: “Being prideful in who I am has never been more special to me. It’s important now more than ever that anyone in, or associated with, the LGBTQ community stand together. I am thankful that YouTube has given me the opportunity to share my story, and provided me with an outlet to express who I really am.” Hugo Nasck adds: “As a non-binary person I believe that more than ever this is the moment to speak and be heard. I believe I can help showing representativity as a trans non-binary person.”
