The song created by JLo and the Hamilton creator is specially aimed to raise money for people in Orlando. The song, Love Make The World Go Round, will benefit Somos Orlando – a charity for Latin-American people who ‘will address the long-term needs for mental health services that are culturally competent and bilingual’ for victims and families.

Proyecto will enable care to be delivered to those affected directly in the communities in which they live. Beyond emergency assistance, they will be provided with case management, crisis intervention, and mental health services, among other needs.’ As the charity notes, the LGBTI nightclub Pulse was holding a Latin night. The vast majority of the victims were from the Latinx community.

Both celebrities paid their own tributes to Orlando victims. In part, JLo left a supportive post on her Instagram: ”
Attacks on ANY person based on race, sexuality, or religious beliefs is an attack on ALL humanity. Acts of terror & hatred have no place in a loving civilized world. This has to stop. Praying for enlightenment for us all to find a solution. My heart and prayers are with all of the families and friends who have lost a loved one in Orlando”.
