The series “Barracuda” talks about gay-swimmers

If you like shapely beauties in bathing suit, screaming silently under the water, you will be probably interested in “Barracuda”, it was released on July 10 at the Australian TV channel ABC drama series about gay sports swimming.

Judging by a brief description, the main meaning of four-part film based on the novel by Christos Tsiolkas to briefly forget about everything and enjoy the beauty of young athletes:

Melbourne, 1996. Home of the Golden Age of Australian sports swimming school. 16-year-old Danny Kelly enters into an elite school for boys, and takes the first step toward his cherished dream, the Olympic gold medal.

At first he could not find his place among the pupils of a private school, teenagers from higher strata of society. But the support of the well-known trainer Frank Torm and friendly rivalry with teammate Martin Taylor help Danny get started, and he begins to prepare for becoming the youngest champion Australian swimmer, irrepressible Barracuda.

In this race for success all Danny’s environment was involved. He falls into a world where only victory counts. Does “Barracuda” will be able to meet everyone’s expectations and realize his dream in front of all of Australia?
