Hollywood legend Jodie Foster will direct one episode of ‘Black mirrors’

The fourth season of the poplar Nelfix series will be on air in 2017 and Foster will join the creator Charlie Brooker to direct one of the episodes.Brooker took to Twitter to confirm the news ahead of the release of Season 3 of the show which was released this morning in the UK. The series has just moved from Channel 4 across to Netflix. Foster will draw experience from directing episodes the of Netflix Original shows Orange Is The New Black and House of Cards. Many have celebrated the show which has been likened to a modern day Twilight Zone.

Created by Charlie Brooker, Black Mirror debuted on the Channel 4 in 2011. The first two seasons consisted of three episodes each, and there was an additional Christmas special that aired in 2014. In 2015, Netflix picked up the show and 12 additional episodes were broken up into two seasons of six episodes each. Season 4 will shoot later this year and premiere in 2017.
