The gay icon has never been a fan of Donald Trump and his policy. And when the First Lady hopeful Melania Trump claimed that if her husband could win the election she would try her best to overcome the problem of bullying, Gaga could not stay indifferent.
Gaga called out Mrs Trump’s “hypocrisy”, as she took to Twitter to urge her ‘little monsters’ to support Hillary Clinton on the election 2016. “@MELANIATRUMP to say u will stand for “anti-bullying” is hypocrisy,” Gaga tweeted. “Your husband is 1 of the most notorious bullies we have ever witnessed.”
The singer’s comments come after Melania made a speech last week, in which she vowed to fight online bullying in her role as First Lady. In a speech on Thursday, Mr Trump’s wife said: “It is never OK when a 12-year-old girl or boy is mocked, bullied, or attacked. It is terrible when that happens on the playground. And it is absolutely unacceptable when it is done by someone with no name hiding on the internet.”
