When Angelina Jolie won a sole custody of the 6 children, it was considered to be unnecessary and senseless to continue investigation about whether Brad Pitt abused them or not. The investigation was launched following a report that Pitt attacked 15-year-old son Maddox on the family’s private jet, but has now been closed by child investigative services. However, sources close to the family say the decision by Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services will not influence on custody agreement which exists between Pitt and Jolie now. A representative for Jolie said the actress is “relieved that the inquiry is over and that the custody arrangements in place will allow the children to heal”. Pitt’s camp declined comment, but it is believed the actor will now seek joint custody of his children when official divorce proceedings start.
