Alternative usage of HB 2

The scandalous anti-trans bathroom law has no legal power anymore. But it does not mean that the Americans won’t use it in their bathrooms. But the new variant of usage is not discriminating. North Carolina ad agency McKinney is one of the hundreds of local businesses who have come out against the law – and they’re showing their disapproval in a unique way. Since the law is so concerned with what you do in the bathroom, it can now get a front-row seat, after McKinney commissioned a line of toilet rolls featuring the entire text of the law.
The agency explained: “We did this in support of Equality NC’s and Human Rights Campaign’s efforts to encourage North Carolina residents to petition their legislators online. Because we have men’s, women’s and everyone multi-stall bathrooms, and we don’t care which one(s) you feel most comfortable using. Because we value equality, diversity, inclusion and human rights. Because our CEO, Brad Brinegar, spoke out against the bill on CNN and was integral to the letter that 103 national CEOs signed calling for its repeal. Because, you know, it’s called the ‘bathroom bill’, so the whole toilet paper thing was a no-brainer.”
