Originally a five-piece – also comprised of Tony Lundon and The Voice UK 2016 winner Kevin Simm – Liberty X have scored eight top 10 singles in the UK. Liberty X first rose to prominence after missing out on places in the band Hear’Say. The band, featuring Kym Marsh and Myleene Klass, formed on the TV series Popstars back in 2001. It was one of the first music reality shows, and paved the way for programs such as American Idol and the X Factor. However, as Hear’Say’s star began to wane, the rejected band members went on to form Liberty X. What’s more, they rose to unprecedented, Brit Award-winning success.
