Former Dead or Alive singer Pete Burns was not included to the memorial section of Grammys 2017. The likes of George Michael, Prince and Carrie Fisher were all celebrated during the awards. Bruno Mars impersonated Prince, and Adele even failed to sing the song in memory of George Michael because of emotions. As for Burns, he was ignored. The bisexual singer was included in a longer list of 800 performers on the Grammys website – raising questions of why he didn’t make it to the show. Fans reacted badly to Burns conspicuous absence from the list.

Burns became known in later life for his gender non-confirming appearance and cosmetic surgery.
He also enjoyed a later career appearing on reality shows including Celebrity Big Brother, Celebrity Wife Swap, Come Dine With Me.
