Chicago rapper CupcakKe helped a teen fan kicked off from hoe for being gay

A teen from San Antonio became homeless when his parents figured out he was gay. And he had no one to share his grief with except his favorite musician. The teen, from San Antonio, sent a tweet to his favourite musician Chicago rapper CupcakKe, to let her know that her music was helping him pull through the tough time.
“I’m homeless my mom just booted me from the house 🙁 yr music is helping me pull through queen… going thru some tough shit,” he wrote, “I was shaking and crying, it was so cold”, the boy told Buzzffed.

Christian did not have a place, and told the musician that he was struggling to find somewhere to stay, “I was honestly shocked when she responded asking me if I needed a hotel. I really did need a shelter badly,” he said.

The musician showed a lot of support the boy did not expect. “She’s the one who helped me stop crying during the scariest night of my life,” Christian said. Christian ended up staying at a friends house, and went home the following day to fix things with his mother in the morning. The rapper understands how it feels because she was also left homeless as a teen. “So my first reaction was to get them a hotel for the night, for the week, or even if I had to pay for a month — I was ready to do it,” she explained. Christian is now at home again and working through the instance with his mother. “I can tell she’s frustrated but I think she does feel bad. Will she come around? Only time will tell I guess.”
