The Human Rights Campaign paid for a brilliant Grindr ad during The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) that united all the Republicans from different parts of the country. The ad references closeted gay men having discreet gay hook-ups in hotel rooms and at the same time making anti-LGBT remarks on public. Using targeted geo-location, the ad showed up at the bottom of the home screen as users logged on to the app. At the Republican National Convention last year, reports indicated a high number of people applying for male escort services. ‘Business has been way better.
