Ellen DeGeneres, Lady Gaga, and Pharrell Williams are the faces of the new Revlon project named ‘The love’ having charity purposes. The profits are set to be given to 4 charities. Among them is Lady Gaga’s own Born This Way Foundation, which seeks to empower youth across the world, as well as the Trevor Project, who lead suicide prevention efforts amongst LGBTO youth in the US. The Love Project also supports Pharrell Williams’ From One Hand to AnOTHER, as well as the Women’s Heart Alliance. The 30-second clip, airing during the Oscars, marked The Love Project’s official launch. Gaga says that love is something that embraces us the way we are. Ellen adds that love is the reason why people come to this world and Pharrell concludes that love is a shed of light in the dark. Described as a social movement, the Love Project is supposed to spread love and kindness across the world. ‘The Love Project is the beginning of a social movement which aims to inspire more love, acceptance and caring in the world,’ said Carlos Barreto, Revlon Senior Vice President Marketing, ‘At the heart of this campaign is the belief that all people are beautiful and that love can create a better world.’
