Donald Trump’s inaugural pastor said that the musician Grace Slick who raises money for LGBT-supporting charity foundations was moving in the direction of death. Last week Mrs. Slick shared her plans to donate all the profits from notoriously homophobic restaurant chain Chick-fil-A to fight for LGBT equality, which made her a target of anti-LGBT activists, in part pastor Franklin Graham. On his Facebook he wrote: “She certainly has the right to do that, it’s her money, she earned it [but] what I want Grace and others to know is that Almighty God created and defined marriage in His Word. Any sexual relationship outside of marriage between a man and a woman is sin, and all sin carries a death sentence.” He added: “Jesus is willing to forgive the sin in our lives if we will call on Him in faith. He is the only one who can bring the healing and transformation our hearts need. Grace, it’s my hope and prayer that you will put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ because He loves you very much.” Slick hasn’t reacted on such remarks yet (and to tell the truth, we doubt tat s he ever will, because this is not the first anti-gay comment made by the Christian pastor. So it is likely that each one will remain with an opinion of his\her own).
