Daily Mail called transgender people ‘fascists’

LONDON, ENGLAND - OCTOBER 04: A general view of a clock on the side of Northcliffe House, where the offices of British newspapers the Daily Mail and Mail On Sunday are located, on October 4, 2013 in London, England. The Sun previously wrote hat women in RAF were forbidden to wear skirts because of the pressure from transgender community. But what makes Pierce’s words sound even more ridiculous is accusing the Green Party of active promotion of transgender issues in UK. But even this was not the end, Pierce wrote that gay people still could not calm down and realize that they had all the necessary rights as they had received a legal right to marry. “Not everyone, though, was content to let gays like me — who came out in the Eighties and fought for equality — enjoy our new-found freedoms. The extremists among us became bored by what had effectively become conventional mainstream lifestyles. Rebels without a cause, they had to find a new one. And they did: gender politics” – the journalist writes
