Blind date comeback will have LGBT contestants

The candidates to host the show are also deeply loved by the LGBT audience, among them are – Kylie Minogue, Graham Norton or Rylan Clarke-Neal. Blind Date is looking for LGBTI contestants as the most popular British dating show comes back on screen. The show is currently casting and is ‘in need of people from all sorts of different backgrounds,’ the casting producer said. For 18 years on air the three contestants were fighting for the heart of one opposite-sex person. But now the producers think about making the format more inclusive. Cancelled in 2003, the show’s host Cilla Black was considered a gay icon. Black found fame in the 1960s as a pop star and often wore sequin and feathered outfits, but passed away in 2015. The new host has not yet been announced, but Kylie Minogue is at the top of the list, reports Heat World. ‘Kylie has been discussed because she is so likeable,’ a source told The Sun. Other potential hosts include Graham Norton, Olly Murs and Rylan Clarke-Neal, who met his husband while filming Big Brother.
