Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson introduced the new music video including same-sex love story

The video by the popular instrumental band known for its collaborations with top celebrities like Anne-Marie and Sean Paul (‘Rockabye’), Jess Glynn (‘Rather be’) tells the story of gay love. This time the musicians collaborated with the young songbird Zara Larsson and created the track ‘Symphony’ – a very light but powerful song. And everybody waited for the video to be no less powerful. And the stars did not let the audience down. The video tells a tragic love story between the conductor of a symphony orchestra and his male beloved. The members of the band say that the song has a very strong emotional massage which they wanted to underline with a beautiful and moving picture. “We started by using the song’s title as inspiration for the back story and location, which allowed us to fulfil a life long dream to perform at The Royal Festival Hall with a full orchestra. Actually, we played there in orchestras as teenagers but it is amazing to return with our own band and our own song!” Clean Bandit member and the video co-director Grace Chatto said, “The video tells the tragic story of a conductor who loses his boyfriend in a bicycle crash. The conductor leads the symphony orchestra that we [Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson) are part of. Through music, he finds strength going through heartbreak and loss. We always direct and make our own music videos, but this is the first time we have attempted such a linear narrative.”
