Students in Japan filmed a short anti-dystopia “The Other Side”. It shows a world in which “heterosexuality is disgusting”.
So, in this film the world turned upside down. LGBTs are the majority that brand and condemn heterosexual love. The film starts with a reportage, which says that, supporting public protests around the world, the parliament passed a law banning heterosexual sex.
Then it tells about secret meetings of heterosexual couples, who are forced to hide their love, under the guise of same-sex pseudonyms. They can communicate only on the Internet, for fear that their unnatural communication will become known.
The authors of the film shot it to visually show how difficult it is for many LGBT citizens, especially transgender people, to live in Japan, writes GSN.
