Gay Trump supporters were not allowed to march during LGBT Pride

The ‘Gays for Trump’ group was excluded from LGBT Pride March in the city of Charlotte (NC) and their leader is furious about it. Brian Talbert, a member of ‘Gays for Trump’ applied to have a float in the parade scheduled for August of this year in Charlotte, but received a denying letter from the Pride organizers.“It was going to be fun. We wanted to be energetic,” Talbert told Fox News, “We wanted to show that we weren’t the racist, bigot, misogynistic… We wanted to show that we are Americans, [and we] love our country and our president. “We wanted to be there to celebrate gay pride. Everything fell into place except being able to celebrate who I am.”

“In the past, we have made similar decisions to decline participation from other organizations espousing anti-LGBTQ religious or public policy stances. Charlotte Pride invites all individuals, groups, organizations and causes which share our values to join our community’s celebration of the LGBTQ community, history, arts and culture,” Charlotte Pride spokesman responded.
