Derick Dillard is married to Jill Duggar, a member of the evangelical Duggar family that spawned the TLC reality 19 Kids and Counting. And he decided to start a war against another TLC reality star – Jazz Jennings of ‘ I Am Jazz’. “What an oxymoron… a ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality. ‘Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it’s ordained by God,” Dillard wrote in Twitter, adding that he was not against Jazz (although he used male pronouns referring to her), he is just against the words chosen for it, he does not believe in being trans as in something which can be a basis for reality. He has a right for this opinion because he has never communicated with trans people eye to eye and he does not know them. It is really hard to believe in something you do not know. Maybe he should talk to Jazz at first? She is a very kind girl (the word ‘girl’ is stressed) and she will prob ably forgive him for being so rude. And knowing her personally he may change his mind about trans people in general and her in part.
