Mel C tributed George Michael and dreams of collabing with Sia

The former Spice Girls singer expressed her admiration to the bisexual pop star Sia whom she believes to be a great role model, because she is a mature artist which makes public fall in love with everything she does. And Mel would love to hve a duet with such a wonderful artist, as she told in her interview to PinkNews. ” I’ve followed her career since she was with Zero 7 way back in 2000 or whatever – and I’m a really big fan and I just think it would be an interesting collaboration,” Mel said. She also added that she is really happy to perform at Manchester Pride and she is going to enjoy every second she spends there. Paying tribute to out gay singer George Michael who died last year on Christmas day, and the song her bandmate Geri Horner devoted to him Mel said: “I thought it was lovely and I felt it was a really brave thing for her to do because obviously her and George were very close – I hardly knew George – I’d met him a few times, and I still feel very emotional about it. So I don’t actually know how she had the courage to go out and perform that song. We met at the Olympics – the last time I saw him he had a big party at his place after the Olympics and we were all there. Probably award shows and gigs …”
