Gay man killed in Las Vegas in front of his boyfriend’s eyes

A gay man Cameron Robinson was killed in the mass shooting in Las Vegas. He was 28 years old and his 36-year-old boyfriend Bobby saw everything. Bobby took shrapnel to the back as gunman Stephen Paddock killed at least 59 people and injured another 527 in the deadliest mass shooting in US history. Armed with 16 guns, 64-year-old Paddock opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel, shooting at the attendees of the music fest – including Cameron and Bobby. The couple had been together for four years after they met on OkCupid, and a year ago, Cameron moved in with Bobby and his three children in St George, Utah. Bobby
said that Cameron had been much more than just a boyfriend, a partner. He was a second half of his own self. Looking back at Sunday’s tragic events, he said: “I just remember being really upset – why would somebody set off firecrackers at a venue like this when shootings have happened? I remember seeing people sitting on the ground and wondering why they were sitting because they were going to get trampled. And I realised they were bleeding.” Cameron was a records specialist for the city of Las Vegas.
