Rosie O’Donnell has given her first interview since President Trump took office, saying every week she hopes Trump will quit. It is the first interview since Trump took office, and since she and the President have taken aim at each other via Twitter and now she has given her first official interview since then. She had not appeared on TV because she needed to make up her mind with that fact that Donald Trump rules the country. “It’s taken a year for me to get my equilibrium back, to come back up to the surface, to really go, ‘Okay, every Monday is the hope that this is the last week’ — and every Friday is a devastation,” Rosie says adding that it is still impossible for her to believe that Donald Trump will remain in the office for years. “And the ineptitude—the impotence of people who should be able to stop him claiming they can’t—is absolutely infuriating,” Rosie adds, only wishing that the Americans will survive.
