Kevin Spacey sacked from House of Cards


Amid sexual assault allegations the actor remains jobless. Kevin Spacey has been sacked from the shelved Netflix hit ‘House of Cards’ amid a raft of sexual misconduct allegations, in part from the show staff. One staffer, a former production assistant, said that Spacey sexually assaulted him during one of the early seasons of the show. All 8 said he touched them and made inappropriate comments. The two-time Oscar winner, who is executive producer on the show, generally targeted production staff which consists of young men. And now Spacey has been sacked by Netflix from House of Cards. In their statement Netflix said: “Netflix will not be involved with any further production of House of Cards that includes Kevin Spacey. We will continue to work with MRC during this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the show. We have also decided we will not be moving forward with the release of the film Gore, which was in post-production, starring and produced by Kevin Spacey.”
