Being fired by MailOnline, Katie Hopkins deletes all the tweets

Katie Hopkins has been axed from her column with Mail Online due to her controversial remarks. The commentator had caused a string of controversies in recent months, including calling for a “final solution” in the wake of the Manchester terrorist attack which was a clear reference to the Nazi term referring to Holocaust, and facing a public backlash she changed it into ‘true solution’. Now every post to her Twitter account, read by more than 800,000 people, has been deleted without explanation. In a statement to Press Gazette, a Mail Online spokesperson said: “Katie’s contract was not renewed by mutual consent.” Monroe won the libel proceedings after Hopkins tweeted untrue claims about the vandalism of a war memorial.
