Police believes Lil Peep’s death to be suspicious

Police have launched an investigation into the death of rapper Lil Peep, who died last month aged just 21. The ‘Post-Emo’ rapper come out as bisexual on Twitter this summer. A tweet from his manager Chase Ortega says he was “expecting this call for a year”. His last Instagram post read: When I die you will love me. The cause of his death is believed to be drug overdose. Sergeant Pete Dugan from the Tucson, Arizona Police Department confirmed to Rolling Stone that an investigation has been launched and toxicology is required to either confirm or deny the version about drug overdose. In another twist, TMZ reported that police are investigating a series of text messages sent from a woman who is alleged to have seen the rapper right before he died. One of the alleged texts reads, “GBC [Lil Peep] high af because of me and my friend lol.” Another message reads, “He passed the f*ck out my brother called and I tried to get him to say hi to my brother but he wouldn’t wake up.”
