Call Me By Your Name has landed three Golden Globe nominations

The gay drama starring Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet, who are both straight (and the film has lready faced backlash in the media for casting them) is predicted to receive a lot of awards. Bot actors are nominated for Golden Globe. Chalamet, 20, was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture. His 31-year-old co-star was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture. The film was also nominated for Best Picture in the Drama category, however the film director was not nominated for the best director this time. Battle of The Sexes, based on lesbian tennis legend Billie Jean King, picked up two nominations – for stars Emma Stone and Steve Carrol. Meanwhile Will and Grace picked up a Best Comedy nomination in the TV categories, while Eric McCormack was nominated for his role as Will on the show.
