Fires are spreading across California and the TV host is afraid that the disease could touch her house. The Thomas Fire, which is now the fifth largest fire in modern Californian history at 230,000 acres, is threatening the house which has been on sale since March. Ellen and Portia De La Rossie have already been evacuated from the house, as the host shared with her Twitter followers, writing: “Our house is under threat of being burned. We just had to evacuate our pets. I’m praying for everyone in our community and thankful to all the incredible firefighters.” Furthermore she addressed all the people who live in the same area asking them to take care and to try their best to keep people and animals (yes, she especially noted about animals, they are helpless) around them safe. Around 4,000 firefighters have been attempting to control and extinguish the various blazes. More than 800 buildings have reportedly been destroyed since the fires began last week. The terrifying blazes have led about 200,000 people to evacuate their homes across the southern part of the state.
