Croatia has its first same-sex parenting book

A launch took place at the French Institution in Zagreb and 500 copies of the book were sold out already. A statement from an advisor at the French Embassy, Guillaume Colin, reads that diversity, tolerance and respect are in the center of the European values regardless of the country. The coordinator of the Rainbow Families Association, Daniel Martinovic, said that he did not expect such a demand for a book. The book was written by Ivo Segota, who says that the book is intended to help Croatians to understand same-sex relationships, families and parenting. Croatia has rather poor LGBT rights records, but there are LGBT activists that are fighting for the rights of their community.
