An anti-LGBT evangelist who accused President Obama of “spreading immorality” defended the British politician who is against gay sex. Farron told Premier Christian Radio that he does believe gay sex is sinful, despite telling voters he did not,
during the general election. The Trump-supporting preacher and the son of the evangelical hero Billy Graham said that he is praising Farron for his words. Mr Graham said he applauds Farron “for having the guts to come out and say he made a mistake”. The preacher added: “Standing with the truth of the Word of God can be hard. It makes waves. It’s unpopular with many. God’s Word is “alive and sharper than any two-edged sword.” In conclusion Graham said that it is typical for humans to say what people want to hear, just to win their love. But the one who loves God would say only what He considers right.
