Burberry’s new collection is aimed to support LGBT charities


Luxury fashion retailer Burberry has launched a new rainbow themed collection announcing that the profits of it will go to three major LGBT charities organizations. The London-based brand will be launching a new collection that includes a variety of rainbow themed items during the fashion week in the British capital. Check print, which is a significant feature of the brand, is going to get a rainbow-themed makeover in February 2018. Posting on their Instagram on February 12, Burberry announced their #TheRainbowCheck collection and their donation to three LGBT charities, The Albert Kennedy Trust, The Trevor Project and International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA). The brand stated that rainbow is a symbol of optimism and inclusiveness and their LGBT customers can always count on their support. “To solidify its support of LGBTQ+ communities, Burberry also announces today that it has made donations to three charities – the Albert Kennedy Trust, the Trevor Project and ILGA – all dedicated to broadening the awareness, mentoring and resources available around the world,” the brand noted.
