LGBT Olympians digest 2018. Adam Rippon

We have posted a number of articles about the team USA figure skater who has won his first medal at the Winter Olympic Games 2018 yesterday, he has won a bronze. He previously stood against the decision to choose the VP Mike Pence as the leader of the USA Olympic delegation, saying that his anti-LGBT views and open support of so-called ‘conversion therapy’ practices made him a person he (Rippon) would never like to meet. After such a claim Pence contacted Rippon saying that he was there for him and for each and every American athlete, urging him not to believe in what media reports say. However following his Olympic success, for which he claimed to had been working for the whole life, Rippon said that he would love to meet the VP if he is ready foor an open conversation about the future of the country, in part concerning LGBT rights.
