Trump: Orlando tragedy would not have happened if everybody had guns

Donald Trump has claimed that a 2016 massacre in an Orlando gay bar could have been prevented if victims were armed. During the meeting, Trump cited the killings that took place at the Pulse gay dance club in Orlando that took 49 lives. Trump believes that most shoo tings took place in gun-free zones (like schools or nightclubs) and that is why people are unable to protect themselves when they are attacked. “You had one person in that room that could carry a gun and knew how to use it, it wouldn’t have happened. Certainly not to the extent it did, where he was just in there shooting and shooting and shooting. And they were defenseless. Just remember that,” the POTUS added. Though experts from GLAAD state that it is a lie. There were security guards in Pulse who were armed and tried to stop the shooter, but they could not do it. And Trump should think that if people are encouraged to carry guns anywhere they go because they cannot feel safe (instead of being taucht that it is wrong to shoot others) then something is probably wrong with the country.
