Two members of a Premier League squad have alleged that they were bullied by their fellow players who also spread rumors about them allegedly being gay. According to the Sun newspaper, two players at an un-named team were bullied by teammates who printed the mocking posters. The source added that it had affected the squad as a whole and one player even said they were opposed to same-sex relationships because of their faith. A club insider told the paper that generally there is no problem in relationships among the footballers, some support same-sex relationships, some don’t, but it has never been a ground for a conflict until now. Going on, the source said that other staff such as coaches had been forced to intervene as the players failed to solve the conflict by themselves. The primary investigation showed it was a joke, but it definitely had not been accepted well.
