Summer Heights High star Chris Lilley has signed a long-term contract with Netflix


Comic Chris Lilley will be back on fans’ screens collaborating with a media giant Netflix for 10 shows, it has been revealed. Lilley is set to bring some of his most popular characters into a new setting with his comeback show which is to be aired in his homeland – Australia. Annastacia Palaszczuk, Premier of the Queensland territory, said: that she is overjoyed too entice Mr. Lilley in Queensland. The show will have the entire cast (approximately 250 people) from Queensland and the crew is to be Queensland-based as well. “The project will also support two local screen practitioners, who will have the opportunity to work on the series to further develop their professional skills,” the announcement reads. Lilley has been criticised for a racist video he once posted in social media, but later he apologized and deleted the post.
