Christina Aguilera reveals that one of her biggest hits was about her boyfriend’s coming out

Pop extraordinaire Christina Aguilera was the first guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10. On spin-off show Untucked Christina shared that one of her songs that was rel;eased in 2002 was about her ex-lover who came out as gay. Infatuation, off Aguilera’s Stripped album, is about the obsession she builds over a Latin lover, it also depicts forbidden, unaccepted kind of passion. “It was heartbreaking because I found out he played for your team, not mine,” she said about that period in her life. “He’s gonna see this, he’s gonna be mad!” competing queen Vanessa Vanjie Mateo noted. The singer joked that that’s exactly what she hoped for. In a clip released ahead of the season launch, Aguilera states that “only one Drag Race judge is perfect for season 10”.Talking about the release of the new season, Mama Ru said that to celebrate a decade of Drag Race they’ve “pulled out all the stops”. “The queens, the challenges and the shenanigans are off the mother-tucking charts,” said the pop diva.
