Speaking at Wall Street Journal’s Future of Everything Festival, actress Sarah Jessica Parker said that the TV series that brought her fame and the two featured films lacked diversity and did not represent LGBT community and racial minorities the way they should. When asked about making the iconic New York-based TV show in 2018, Ms Parker said that the current New York is incomparable to what it was two decades ago when the show began, the city has changed a lot. “You know, this city has changed – that was 20 years ago this June – this city has changed an enormous amount politically and economically and socially and I think it would be a different show, honestly,” she said. So, the show would also be totally different from what we know.
