Australian transgender woman accidentally killed her boyfriend

Gilbert Caetano, 51, died following an alleged domestic violence incident involving his beloved. Caetano was found unconscious by police at 1:10am on Sunday morning in his Brighton Le Sands home in South Sydney. Paramedics failed to reanimate him and he died at the scene. Police had been called in for a “domestic violence-related incident,” according to the Sydney Morning Herald. Neighbors claimed they heard a woman yelling at the house, followed by a “loud bang.” The 31-year-old Jade Walker was arrested in connection with a crime. She appeared in Sutherland Local Court on Monday. Walker is the sister of rugby player Dylan Walker, who plays centre for the Manly Sea Eagles. The club said in a statement on Monday that they would be helping the family during the legal proceeding. Caetano’s daughter, Jessica, addressed the press on Sunday. She said that her father was a “kid at heart” and a “a fun, loving and caring person” who did not deserve to die. Jessica confirmed Walker had been in an on-and-off relationship with her father, although she has never communicated with her. Walker was refused bail. She will reappear in court next week.
