The drag CBB winner says she would love to take part in one more popular TV show — Strictly Come Dancing. She would like to appear there with a male partner as Courtney, and if she is allowed to move further, her out-of-drag identity, Shane, will be shown, dancing with the same partner, forming a same-sex couple. The celebrity is gender-fluid and she believes ballroom to be a great place to express it. Courtney said that she had seen same-sex couples competing in the ballroom and it was fabulous, so she thinks it is time for BBC to step away from what they call a traditional format and to allow same-sex couples to compete. Last month, Strictly‘s new head judge Shirley Ballas backed same-sex dance couples appearing on the show – after years of resistance from the show’s producers.
