Church tells parents to avoid park because there might be gay people

Glenwood United Methodist Church in Arkansas warned people not to attend the local amusement park Magic Springs with children as long as gay pride events are held in the city. Later the post was removed because, as the church explained, LGBT people started commenting it and accusing the church of hate, though they denied hating gay people. But they still believe that some members of their congregation would not like to see the members of the LGBT community explicitly showing their sexual attraction in the place where people walk with children, so they considered it necessary to warn them. The park is not holding an official LGBT event, but Central Arkansas Pride is organizing a trip for that day under its program Out Days, and the organizers are kind of shocked with such a reaction. The page of the church is now deleted.
