The 77-year-old actor said that the modern movie industry is focused on diversity so much that his status as a straight white male actor was discredited ands not to lose his audience he has nothing else to do as to ‘come out’ as a black transgender lesbian. There are trans women who come out in elderly age and remain attracted to women (meaning that they are transgender lesbians), there is even one person who claims she is a black woman locked in white body (though she is mocked for it, especially within the LGBT community), but Mr. Gilliam is unlikely to belong to any of these categories. The British actor told an audience at the Karlovy Vary film festival in Czech Republic: “It made me cry: the idea that… no longer six white Oxbridge men can make a comedy show,” The Guardian report reads. “I no longer want to be a white male, I don’t want to be blamed for everything wrong in the world: I tell the world now I’m a black lesbian… My name is Loretta and I’m a BLT, a black lesbian in transition,” he fumed (we still use the pronoun ‘he’ because we catch the irony). The actor also went out against the MeToo movement.
