As we recently reported, the Australian movie star accused the gay actor with a horrible reputation of groping him when they were involved in the same film. But now he believes he should not have said so. Pearce had spoken out about working with Spacey on Australian talk show Interview earlier this month, saying that however incredible and amazing actor Mr. Spacey is, working with him was a rather ‘tough time’ and it is difficult for him to talk about it. He could only thank God that he was not underage like Star trek actor Anthony Rapp who was one of the first to publicly accuse Spacey of sexual misconduct and started a flood of similar accusations against the actor, who came out as gay in respond, mistakenly believing it would save him from a public disgrace. However, Pearce has now released a statement following his interview saying that this topic was too sensitive to be publicly discussed. “I addressed and handled the situation when it took place, hence my regret at making it public now,” he said.
