Courtney Act is set to host a groundbreaking dating show which only includes participants attracted to both men and women — they might identify as bisexual, pansexual or questioning. The Bi Life, which is currently being shot in Barcelona and premieres in October on E!, will see the cast of 10 living and partying together, dating, coupling and recoupling. Courtney said that it was a crucial step, but the tendency of bi-erasure both within and outside the queer community demands these people to be more represented in the media. “It’s high time there was a dating show for the large number of young people today, like me, who are attracted to more than one gender. In 2018 we know that sexuality is fluid and sharing the stories and experiences, the laughter and the lovemaking, of young bi people is so important,” said the drag performer, who is genderfluid and pansexual herself.
