The show’s fashion expert Tan France revealed during an appearance on Netflix’s new show Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj that the third season of the show is to be amplified in comparison to previous two. Being asked what he meant by the word ‘amplified’ he hinted that there might be something especially interesting for the female queer audience. “We have our first lesbian on the show this year, yep, and she’s formidable. What we do with her, I think you’re gonna love it,” France teased. To his mind the people who will experience the makeover from the Fab Five in the upcoming season are the real heroes who impress him and his colleagues every time. Filming is currently underway for season three of Queer Eye in Kansas City, Missouri. Season three is set to hit Netflix screens in 2019. The news about the lesbian inclusion in the show came after Queer Eye season two saw the Fab Five making over a trans man, 30-year-old Skyler, for the first time. The second series also saw for the first time a woman, Georgia’s Gay town resident Tammye, receiving the care of the Fab Five.
